We work to promote the benefits of continuity of care, and to ensure that your doctor knows you as an individual. There are benefits to you in being able to see the same GP for your appointments and to know that they are aware of you and your family’s situation. For this reason we encourage that your whole household is registered with us to allow us to co-ordinate your care where this is beneficial.
Appointments at the surgery - to book an appointment please follow our Appointment System
Telephone consultations - If you prefer not to come in into the surgery you can request telephone consultation. To discuss your test results please ask for a telephone appointment. You will be told a time period in which doctor will be calling you. Please make sure that you are available to pick up a phone call.
Message you GP using Patient Access or i-Patient - If you are register to our on-line service you can send a message to your doctor. This is for follow-up, short messaging or query and not to be used as a consultations replacement. If you are unable to see this feature on your account, please contact reception to enable it for you.
Lambeth Access Hubs Service - This new service provided by practices in Lambeth enables locum doctor to have access to your medical records while you are being seen at the different practice. This means you can see a doctor at different location.

- Health checks for patients with severe mental illness or learning disability
Contraception & Sexual Health
Contraceptive advice and advice regarding sexual health issues is from the doctor. Coil and Implants are available from Dr Hipps.
Repeat prescriptions for contraception and screens for sexually transmitted infections are available from the nurse.
HIV tests are available to all patients, please book with the nurse if you feel you would benefit from this or any other sexual health screening test.
Travel Immunisations, including Yellow Fever
If you are travelling abroad you are likely to need vaccinations against diseases which are not prevalent in the UK. Our Practice nurse will give you advice on health issues in the country and area you are going to and will advise you on which vaccinations you require.
You can then come in for your vaccinations during any of Dawn's surgery hours.
Some services provided are not covered under our contract with the NHS and therefore attract charges. Examples include the following:
- Medicals for pre-employment, sports and driving requirements (HGV, PSV etc.)
- Insurance claim forms
- Fit to fly or Fit to act letters
- Private sick notes
- Vaccination certificates
