The A.T Beacon Project engages and empowers vulnerable groups to lead healthier lives. They work alongside communities, organisations and faith leaders to establish Beacon Hubs in safe spaces embedded within local neighbourhoods.
The Hubs provide drop in sessions where communities can gain access to trusted sources on matters concerning their health and wellbeing near to where they live or work.
Beacon Hubs are a resource for local people. From blood pressure checks to vaccine confidence, to mental health and resilience, we engage and support communities to stay well.
Drop-in health and wellbeing sessions are led by a clinician alongside Beacon Ambassadors who are trained peer educators.
No Beacon Hub is the same as we aim to deliver the most suitable approach for that locality.
